Hello, and welcome to another Crazy Crafters Blog Hop for the last day of July with the very Special Guest - Tami White from the USA. I am very pleased and honoured to be participating in today's Blog Hop where we were asked to CASe (Copy And Selectively Edit) one of Tami White's Showcase designs and there was so many to choose from but I decided to pick the design using the Sliding Star Framelits.

First of All, here is the Card from Tami's Showcase Tutorials

Here is My Creation that was Inspired by the Above Card.

This was the very first time I have made a Sliding Card and I found it quite easy to do.
Stampin' Up!® make our lives so much easier with their finest of Thinlets and Framelits Dies.
Here are the following products I used to make these two Cards.

Basic Black Cardstock
Night of Navy Cardstock
Whisper White Cardstock
Silver Glimmer Cardstock
Sliding Star Framelits Dies / Shooting Star Stamp Set Bundle
Cupcake Cutout Framelits Dies
Stars Framelits Dies
Stampin'Write Markers Crushed Curry, Island Indigo, Night of Navy
Wink Of Stella
Stazon Black Ink/ Stazon Cleaner
Softly Falling Textured Impressions Embossing Folder
1"Circle Punch
The Big Shot
Along with Tombow Glue, Mini Glue Dots, Foam Adhesive Strips, Stampin' Dimensionals
Plus 10 cent pieces x 2.

I love how the shooting Star, Spins around as it moves, but next time I think I will use Washers instead of the 2 ten cent coins as they are quite heavy, all the same, it sure added a smile on my face when I saw it spin.

Make sure you don't miss any of the amazing cards this week and keep hopping all the way around our Crazy Crafters Hop. See all the brilliant ideas and creations they come up with.

Todays' card (set) was inspired by the lovely PATTY BENNETT.

Earlier this week I received an email saying Patty had designed a NEW  ' Z FOLD' CARD using Stampin' Up!® DSP.

Here is Patty's gorgeous  New  Z Fold Card

Here is the Card You Tube Tutorial by Patty Bennett.

So after looking at my limited amount of current DSP. I pulled out the wonderful

6'x 6' Playful Palette Series Designer Paper Series.

As Patty says in her tutorial it is a lovely and very quick and easy card to make.

So I had a little brain storm - why not make a set of 4 cards? As there are 4 pages in the pack of the same design in different colours...
With doing this I am keeping my goals in tacked from the On Stage Local Event in April 2016 the # 6monthstampingoals by using my DSP. Yeah right!

I also wanted to keep the cards simple to make for others who are not familiar with Card making, could easily make 1 or all 4 of these cards completely themselves with not needing too much instruction and not needing many products.

So Let's see: - 1 Cut, Score and Glue using Cardstock and DSP
2 Punch out Flowers  using Cardstock and DSP
3 Stamp Sentiment    using matching colours of Cardstock..

Yeah that is at the EASY LEVEL..... Check

The Envelopes were also decorated with 3 single punched Flowers that matches with the flowers on the card and added Dot of Bling. ( Bling is My Thing)  :)

I was so pleased with my creation of Patty Bennetts' New Z Fold Card I have decided to go one step further and make a Gift Box for the 4 Card & Envelope Set.

I know the Gift Box is not for a Novice Card maker, but hey they have to start somewhere; and after seeing the Set with the box as a complete package, surely they will want to come back along soon to my Home for another Coffee and Stamp with Me Class.

The Gift Box will be my Next Blog.

Happy Stamping and Keep on Smiling !!!

Hoping you enjoyed my blog today. Please click on the link below and Vote for My Card, You have 3 cards to choose, I hope my card is one of your three votes?

Hi and Welcome back to my Blog.

The Stamp set - Timeless Textures is becoming a Favourite of mine and very quickly I might add.
It is the perfect Stamp Set to make umpteen backgrounds for your cards; whether you are going the Monochromatic look or as Bright as bright can be, this is the stamp set .

Unfortunately I needed to make a Sympathy card for a wonderful friend who had lost his father suddenly. I wanted it to look Masculine, with a Vintage Feel, Elegant, to represent the man and the Beach that was so important to him without that typical  beach look, to have movement,  Bling but not feminine at all, A straight up Sentiment and of course a Butterfly.

Inside the Card I wanted the theme of the image to carry on, as my Verse I Laser Printed in the card was also Gold Heat Foiled with a Laminator,

So this is what I came up with. I am very impressed with the Result.

Again I have Stamped onto the Envelope to Complete the Look

The Products I used to make this card:

Sahara Sand Cardstock
Very Vanilla Cardstock
Early Espresso Cardstock
Sahara Sand Ink
Crumb Cake Ink
Early Espresso
Timeless Textures (CM) Stamp Set
Gold Metallic Fine Thread
Gold Thread (Retired)
Tombow Glue
Mini Glue Dots

Thank you for Visiting

Hello and Welcome to my Blog

I have THREE Cards for this Blog, that will be displayed below.
I decided to stop Over Thinking everything and just get on and make a Card. Well I got a brain storm and in stead of asking myself tens of questions I just took out the pack of Playful Palette DSP flicked the paper as fanning it and where it opened, that was the paper I would use.

Next for the Die Cutting, since the new Annual Stampin' Up !® Catalogue was released June 2016 I have bought a few Bundles so I decided there and then it was to be the Flourishing Phrases (CM) Stamp Set and the Flourish Thinlets Bundle to be used.

The result was amazing with multi coloured and a multi pattern Flourish Die Cut, totally out of my square and I was happy with the look too. With one of the cards having the Timeless Textures Stamp Set as a Background with coordinating colours to match the Playful Palette DSP.

Adding different Embellishments the #1 Card and #2 Card are similar but then they have totally different looks.  See for yourselves.

 CARD #2
Showing the Inside of the Card and the Envelope to Complete the look

Thank you for Visiting my Blog.

Hi and Welcome back to my Blog

We Card-makers know not to throw Scraps out; if there is a possible chance we can squeeze something else out of that piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) or Cardstock.

I Still have to Blog 3 of the 4 cards that I made, in order to have the Scrap Leftovers to make these Quick and Easy cards. ( They will be Blogged Shortly)

It is a great feeling that you can whip up a card or two in less than half the time it takes to make a Card with so much detail.

Here are two great examples of Cards made with left over pieces of DSP and were so quick and easy to make, and so much Fun too.

To make this card "HELLO"I used the Following Products

In Colours 2016 - 2018 Cardstock - Emerald Envy
In Colours 2016 -2018 Ruched Ribbon - Flirty Flamingo
In Colours 2016 - 2018 Enamel Shapes - Flirty Flamingo

Hi and Welcome back to my Blog.

This is Baby Bear, I was so lucky to have won this beautiful 3 Step Stamp Set at the Stampin' Up!® On Stage Local Event,  In April 2016 - Hilton Hotel Sydney.
The On Stage Local Events are AMAZING, You get to meet so many other people who love to do what I you to do, we share each others skills and tips,

We Laugh and Dance so a good time is had by all, So much recognition, you get to meet the Guest Team from Utah USA such lovely people, so down to earth, friendly even if I got a little Star Struck this time and forgot to have photos with them all.

The day is so inspiring you leave with so much information the and did I mention the FREEBIES  - yes Freebies galore and hey who doesn't like getting Free products which are Brand New and about to be released in the up coming catalogue right.

The next On Stage Event is LIVE, to be held in Brisbane Nov 3rd to 5th inclusive, LIVE means just that most if not all the USA Team will attend this event and it will be Video-cast to all other venues around the world, As it is the LIVE event it is held over 3 days, so that means there are 2 more days of excitement, fun, laughter and yep Freebies to be had.

Yes you guessed it I am going to Brisbane for the Stampin' Up!® On Stage Live Event this coming November.

Hey would like to join me?  Become a part of my team? Yes? Well give me a buzz and I can let you know all the details on how to get in on all the Fun !!!!!

Baby Bear is a Photopolymer Stamp Set - which means it is see through, you can see exactly where you are stamping the image. This type of Stamp makes 2 and 3 Step Stamping so easy, really it is that easy to do and the results make every one go WOW.

Q. Why is it called 3 Step Stamping?
A. That is; it needs three different stamps to complete the image.

You will find this Stamp Set on Page 61 of the Stampin' Up!® Annual Catalogue. You can order it from my 24/7 Online Store, there is a link on the right for you to click on and it will take to straight to the store.

Baby Bear is just So Cute
To make the two cards I used the Following Products

In Colours 2016 - 2018 Peekaboo Peach Cardstock
Early Espresso Cardstock
Whisper White Cardstock
Sahara Sand Ink
Crumb Cake
Soft Suede
Early Espresso Ink
In Colours 2016 - 2018 Peekaboo Peach Ink
"Seaside"Texture Impressions Embossing Folder
Tombow Glue

Card #2 I lifted it up a notch by using a thin wire, curled around a pencil and Stampin' Dimensional to make the Head wobble. You can by the Wobbly Head devices online at other Craft Stores, but I made my own by using Jewellery Wire, You can see the wire in these two images, Yes I had to stamp Baby Bear a second time and then carefully remove his hear from his body - BUT I did it as lovingly and carefully as possible.

I like to Stamp the Envelope to match the Card, I think it give the recipient a Surprise when he or she first sees the Envelope and makes them more eager to actually see what is inside.

The Final Pose
Card #2 on the Left and Card #1 on the Right

I do hope you like my cards, and they have inspired you to have a go at the Three Step Stamping Technique and maybe to give making a Wobbly Head ago.
There are so many Stamps Sets in the Stampin' Up!® Annual Catalogue that you could place a Wobbly Head onto its image.

Hello and Welcome to my Blog Tonight's Kylie Bertucci's International Blog Hop to make aware that Depression, Anxiety and Other Mental Health Issues are really out there, it is not a myth it is real and it is a very scary Illness.

Why do I say this, easy as I have suffered with Depression to the point, I contemplated taking my own life. For someone who has never been in the situation, I can assure you it is not the easy way out, It means that person is at his or hers lowest of lows, and they are actually thinking more of their loved ones than themselves.
Committing suicide is certainly not for a coward, I am so glad that I thought about it long and hard I wrote everything down. The good the bad the ugly, the things that I can change, the things that might be able to be changed and the things that could not be changed.

You feel so lonely and alone even in  room that has 100 people in it. The painted faces to hide how you really feel, the lost of appetite and so on.

The scariest thing for me was when I decided to go and ask for help, Medical Help and after answering a few questions the GP offers very freely DRUGS..... Now excuse me don't you think that is the last thing that should be offered? I mean to say..... One bottle in one go ?????

I am a lucky one, with my faith and my own self help, I helped myself, I still have down days but I know I can get myself back up and I need to be here to help others... Even if it is only to listen You speak I listen, I will always give hugs as they are the best thing a person can give and they are free.

Remember, I am always here for YOU. xxxx

Country Livin' Stamp Set Woodlands Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and Flourishing Phrases Stamp Set

I decided I wanted to make a Masculine Card. A real Blokes Card, with NO ribbons, bows or obvious pretty bling, so I set about looking in the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue. I saw the Guy Greetings Stamp Set, but the images weren't big enough and even though my Hubby rides a Harley and a member of the NSW Chapter of the Veterans Motorcycle Club I realized that I couldn't use the New One Wild Ride Stamp Set even if I wanted to as I still haven't ordered it yet ooops.

Then I remembered I had bought the New Country Livin' Stamp Set and also have the Woodlands Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, which got me thinking "How do they make the Vehicles hide between the trees?".

I remember seeing a tutorial on You Tube at one time so I jumped onto You Tube, entered Woodland Embossing Folder Tutorial in the search bar and first up is a Tutorial with 'Frenchie' France Martin . Yeah!!! I think Frenchie is great, I love how she leaves all her stuff ups in her Tutorials and walks around her room chatting as if we are they right in her room with her.

Below is a link to Frenchies' Tutorial under the image of her Card.

Woodlands Faux Illusions

So after I watched the tutorial I decided to give it a try. I thought I am going to give this card to Ray my Hubby, he has been working long hours starting at all different times of day and night and we haven't seen much of each other for a couple of months.
As I get out of bed on a morning he is climbing in after driving all night. He gets up for something to eat then back to bed, his whole life revolves around broken sleep, to make sure there is food on the table and pay to our bills.
Obviously with him working these types of hours and also working away a week at a time; we both are not feeling the love as we should, and as busy as we get we forget to tell each other one very important thing.

Having been a couple for 36 years things become habit forming very quickly.
This is not good for a marriage, even after all these years being a couple, and 29 years of this time a married couple ( yes we got married on the 7 year itch) lol, we still have to work on our marriage and keep it as exciting as it was way back then.

We have been talking about retirement in 3 years time and maybe moving North West of NSW get away from the City life, So I thought this Image would be perfect for the card, and then looking through all my New Stamp Sets that I have bought so far from the New Annual Catalogue June 2016 - May 2017, I saw the perfect sentiment from the Flourishing Phrases Stamp Set. It is just right for how I have been feeling lately.

I do hope you like my card as much as I do.

This  is my attempt to get colour range for the sky, typical for Australian Bushfire Season

The Simple Sentiment of "I love YOU" on the front of the card and the Verse inside is perfect for the 'Blokes Bloke' it says it all.

I used a piece of Fun Foam to stabilize the Image Layer as it became very warped with the Deeply Textured Embossing of the Woodland Image then also with the amount of Colouring that was done.

R.A.K. CARD - For RYDER ........ With Botanical Blooms and the Botanical Builder Framelits Dies Bundle

Hello and Welcome back to my Blog.

Today I am Blogging a R.A.K. Card; This stands for Random Act of Kindness. I was asked to make a card for a family who is going through a very worrying time with their 19 month old Son Ryder.

Ryder is a tough little Guy and has been through so much in his 19 months of life than most of us with ever go through. Ryder is fighting Cancer, this disease is more and more common as the years go on, but to think this darling little boy has had to endure physically is beyond any words I could possibly write.

His Mummy Samantha and Daddy Stephen are fighting alone side of Ryder with as much power and strength as possible. I don't know this little family personally but as a Mum myself, of two Adult children this story took me back to when I was 30 weeks gestation with my Son Reece, who is now 22 yrs of age I might add. Something went horribly wrong, out of the blue my baby was fighting for life inside of me, up until then I was very healthy and was enjoying my 2nd pregnancy as much as my 1st if not better. Then a routine ultrasound as I was the ripe old age of 30, the radiologist saw something was amiss. Big words were thrown at me, my head was in a blur, I had a 3 year old at home eagerly awaiting the birth of a baby brother or sister, I didn't know the sex of my baby, I'm old fashioned and wanted to find out when I birth. But now I had to go home and explain to my hubby and to family, that I no We all had to prepare for the worst, that my precious baby may never take a breath outside my body.

Devastated, Frightened and suddenly very weary after being to the funeral home leaving the ladies that worked there in tears, of organizing a service I had to prepare as I knew I would not be able to get things right if the time come. I ended on the doorstep of the presbytery of my Parish Priest, he opened the Church and we both went inside and talked. Obviously there was a lot of tears, and he the Priest said he would offer Mass for my unborn child, I was to pray to Saint Jude, as he was the Saint for little children who were ill.

Six weeks later, after been wrapped in cotton wool so to speak, my baby son was born, and he looked perfect. He was tiny but beautiful, on his Baptism I dressed him in the Gown I was Baptized in and he looked like a little Porcelain Doll. Yes there was hospital stays along and through his childhood, so very frightening times, but to see him now you would not think there was ever anything wrong with him all those years ago.

So here is my R.A.K. Card to the Family hopefully with the Bright Colours and the Flowers to represent happiness, love, and good feelings, and the Butterflies are the Angels from Heaven watching over them helping them with added strength.

I believe it was my faith that saved Us and my Baby through Prayers and even to this day, every day and every night I thank My Lord and St Jude.

In the Card I have made I placed the Prayer to St Jude for Ryder, to ask for Help, just like I did so many years ago.

Here is that Prayer -

Prayer to St Jude!

St. Jude, the glorious apostle faithful servant and friend of Jesus,
The patron of hopeless cases of things despaired of,
Pray for our child who is sick and so miserable.
Make us we implore you of this particular privilege accorded to you,
To bring visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of.
Come to our assistance in this great time of need,
That I may receive the consolations and succour of Heaven
In all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings,
Particularly to help our child to get better from his illness
And to give him good health to guide his path,
That we may bless God with you
And all the elect forever.
I promise you, O Blessed St. Jude,
To be ever mindful of this great favour,
And I will never cease to honour you
As my special and powerful patron
To do all in my power to encourage devotion to you.

Timeless Textured Meets Playful Pallette DSP

This is my CASe of the following card that Tracy May created.
I used the same Stamp Set the Wonderful "Timeless Textures" as Tracy in her card.
My background is larger than Tracy's but that is what CASe is all about.

I used three of the beautiful New In Colours 2016 - 2018 they are
Peekaboo Peach, Emerald Envy and Flirty Flamingo.

The Cardstock Colours - Peekaboo Peach and Emerald Envy and Whisper White for the Card and Layers.

To make the Lush looking Die Flowers I used the Brand New Flourishing Phrases Stamp Set and Flourish Thinlits Dies Bundle (142323 CM) Pg 49 in the Annual Catalogue June 2016 - May 2017.
Together with the Playful Pallette DSP Stack (141657) Pg 174.
To top off with a little bling I used the last of my Iced Rhinestones (retired) along with the fun 2016 - 2018 In Colours Enamel Shapes (141410) Pg 177.

I like the idea of the Stamped Background to give texture and even though I didn't use Three Step Stamping as Tracy May did, I gave my card the 3D effect with using the colourful DSP from the Playful Pallette Range.

I am a fan of Layers and I will POP them as high as I possibly can to give the card height and dimension

Here is the Wonderful Card Tracy Created

Thank you for coming to my Blog, I hope you liked what you see and may YOU be inspired by my work too.
