Hey, hey, hey It's Friday.

Welcome to my blog and to the Crazy Crafters Friday Team Project Highlights, where we have our blog post for today linked to Mama Kylie Bertucci's Blog. 7:00pm  the Blog opens for voting.

I have been super busy this week, making many cards with the beautiful Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper (144147) Page 89 in the Annual Stampin' Up! Using the motto, #LoveitChopIt I have certainly made sure this is what I am doing with the DSP, no more hoarding it. Time to use it.

I love Fridays as I can enter my cards and have it sitting next to my very talented team members than inspire me so.

The card I am entering tonight, is a card I have CASEd from the most Inspiring Lisa Curcio. At lisa's Stamp Studio

This is the wonderful Lisa Curcio

I am not quite sure if she placed her card on the Demonstrators Facebook Page or Forum Facebook page as I am quite sure Lisa did not do a Tutorial, anyway, Lisa inspired me, not to just CASE her card but to make another 7 styles of cards with different sentiments, so yeah I have been on a roll this week.

Here is the card I am entering today, I hope you like it. Please if you do, would you be kind enough to go over to Kylie Bertucci's Blog and vote for my card.

Just click on the Link for Kylie's Blog and turn the Grey Heart Red on my card image. Thanks 💖

Hi All

Like you all, I have been busy getting things in place for the new Holiday Catalogue for 2017.

I have been making many Cards from the Annual Catalogue, and Client order of 50 Party Invitations to celebrate a 60th Birthday.  All this and I have managed to blog not about a card this week made from a product from the Holiday Catalogue, It is more of a project.

A Super Sexy Mouse Pad

It was super quick and easy to make, BUT the finished product gives a huge WOW factor look.

All you require are 4 products to maker this project.

1. An new or old  Computer Mouse Pad

2. A 12" x 12" DSP of your choice  I used the gorgeous -

(YEAR OR CHEER SPECIALTY DESIGNER SERIES PAPER) 144640  Page 37 New Holiday Catalogue - Available 1st September 2017 - 2 January 2018

3. Multipurpose Liquid (Tombow) Glue  - 110755 Page 202 Annual Catalogue

4. Scissors -  Paper Snips  103579 Page 204 Annual Catalogue

I simply placed the Mouse Pad into a corner and married up two sides of the DSP drew a pencil line around the Mouse Pad.

Then I simply Cut the pattern out carefully on the pencil line with my Scissors.

Lastly I added a fair amount of Tombow Adhesive onto the Mouse Pad and stuck the DSP onto the Pad.

Voila...  One Awesome Looking Updated Mouse Pad.

If you think this is an awesome idea, please pop over to Kylie Bertucci's Blog and Vote for me. There will be a little grey heart in the top right corner of the photo of the Mouse Pad. Click on it and the heart will turn Red. I would appreciate your kindness.
Here is the link, just click on it and it will take you straight there Cheers Christine ;)

The Holiday Catalogue available
 Friday 1 September 2017 - 2 January 2018

Just think how your family and friends will feel when they open the envelope and there before them is a card just for them made by you. It will sure put a smile on their face and give them that warm fuzzy feeling of love.

                            Thank you for Popping By!
                                    Happy Stamping!

Crazy Crafters - Team Project Highlights

Hi Everyone,

I'm Back in the swing of things again. Wow, it seems like forever since I have blogged along with you all.
My card tonight is Unfortunately a Sympathy Card. Our dear friend had to say his final goodbyes to his Mother yesterday at her funeral. Wow, it was the hardest thing to do, Go to the funeral after such a sort time since we did this with my Mum.
But we all leave this planet Earth when are the body is of no use to us anymore and whether Religious or Spiritual we hope or believe there is something else for us up there way past the stars we see at night.

With the passing of this lovely lady again who was in her 8th decade, I decided to make a card in Pinks to celebrate her Life instead of dark gloomy colours to represent the hurt and death of her passing.

My card is not an original design, I saw it a while ago when I was searching SplitCoastStampers, I fell in love with the design the moment I laid eyes on it; So I CASed the card below the designer is RAZLDAZL here is where you go to see it:-

Isn't it just beautiful

So Here is my Card Difficulty I would say would be 2 out of 5 - Showing the Techniques of Masking and Heat Powder Embossing.

So here is what I needed to use to made the A6 card

The Card: -    Whisper White Thick Cardstock. 21cm x 14.9cm
The Layer: -   Gold Foil Cardstock. 14.4cm x 10cm
The Design: - Whisper White Thin Cardstock. 14cm x 9.5cm

Inks: - In Color : 2017/2019 Powder Pink #1 on Left
In Color :2016/2018 Flirty Flamingo #2 on Right
            Subtle's    : Blushing Bride #3 on Bottom

Versamark Ink
Embossing Buddy
Heat Tool
Fast Fuse
#4 of the Layering Circle Framelits Dies (141705)
The Big Shot
a Scrap piece of Cardstock to make the Masking Layer.

Stamp Set: Lovely As a Tree (128655) Wood Mount
Stamp Set: Flourishing Phrases (141534) Clear Mount

Woohoo Look at that Embossing Powder Shine..

Would you like to vote for my card this week if so here is the link to do just that

Thanks for Looking have a Wonderful, Happy and Safe Weekend, and I will be here with another new card same time next Friday Evening.

Keep Smiling and Happy Stamping.💖

Kylie's International Blog Highlight June 2017 - BABY THEME

Hello Welcome and thank you for joining me today in this very exciting blog hop. Each month Kylie Bertucci holds an International Blog Highlight on her own blog and asks her team the Crazy Crafters to join in the fun with other very talented people around the world.

It is so much fun for us as well as you looking at all the cards or projects made each month.
This month - June 2017 the Theme is BABY, how this works is Kylie gives us a brief or theme and we make a card or 3D project for that theme; we must us all current Stampin' Up! products.

You as an onlooker can join in on the fun too - I reckon this is the best bit - YOU get to vote for your Top Favorites. I do hope mine will be one you vote for.

This came to me in the 11th hour so to speak, I was struggling to do something different for me. I wanted something easy to do, this time no stamping, I wanted to use the New 2017-2019 In Colors and the In Love DSP, I am a real hoarder of the DSP (Designer Specialty Paper). I asked my team members just this week how do they cut their DSP so I can stop this hoarding and use it. Kylie has a hashtag (#loveitchopit) I need to practise this myself.

I have heard so many times, "I cannot make a card, I don't have a creative bone in my body" with my card this shows YES you can. With the use of a wonderful Framelits Dies Set, the magical Big Shot that puts a smile on everyone's face each time they use it, Cardstock, DSP, Glue and the new Mini Stampin' Dimensionals you have the makings of a Great Card, Simple but Attractive.

I hope I have inspired you with my card today, there are so many more techniques I could add to this card, or change its appearance with different colours, papers, letters the mind boggles. just let it go free and the world becomes your oyster in the land of card making.

The Recipe

1.  21 cm x 14.9 cm In Colors Fresh Fig Cardstock scored at 10.5 cm The Base Card
1. 14.5 cm x 10 cm In Colors Berry Burst Cardstock Layer
1. 14.5 cm x 10 cm Bundle of Love DSP Layer
2. 13.9 cm x 9.5 cm In Colors Powder Pink Cardstock Layers
1 2.5 cm x 9.0 cm In Love DSP

1 of each Letter T,W,I,N,S in the In Colors Berry Burst Cardstock
1 of each Letter T,W,I,N,S in Bundle of Love DSP

The Method

With the Fresh Fig Base Card, fold onto the score and turn it to landscape.
Glue the 14.5 cm x 10 cm  In Colour Berry Burst  Cardstock layer to the card base, then
Glue one of the 13.9 cm x 9.5 cm In Color Powder Pink cardstock layer to the card, here you now have two layers of card with a 5 cm framework. This Powder Pink layer is where you will place the Die Cut Letters T,W,I,N,S. but first you are to glue the letters of the Bundle of Love DSP to the In Colors Berry Burst  letters with a slight overhang to form a shadow, remember to make sure you glue the shadows the same way for all the Letters. Let them Dry.

Now for inside the card, glue the 14.5 cm x 10 cm In Love DSP layer, then on top of this glue the In Colors Powder Pink cardstock layer.
To add a little extra to the inside of the card, glue the 2.5 cm x 9.0 cm  Bundle of Love layer strip at the bottom with an equal amount of In Colors Powder Pink cardstock showing on the two sides and the bottom edge, once again the inside of the card has layers with a 5 cm framework.

Now go back to the front of the card and adhere the Letters with the new Stampin' Up! Mini Dimensionals and to add a little bling ( for me Bling is a must have) I chose the new Stampin' Up!  Glitter Dots.

Tonight I have entered a card for the Team Project Highlights, that  I made for the Sneak Peek of the 2017-2018 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue Blog Hop we had earlier this week. This is okay to do as it is a Highlights Blog, so this means I do not need to make card exclusively for this blog.

The Card is a special Thank you Card! I am to make 30 of them in total for all the people who attended my darling sweet mothers funeral 3 weeks ago, wow time just moves on so fast.

I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart,  who commented on the Sneak Peek Blog:  with so many beautiful, caring , loving thoughts and prayers said for myself, for mum and for all my family. Thank you so much.
I feel so blessed, so loved and so comforted by you all, It surely has helped, during this sad time.

So tonight is the start of a new me. A promise I made to myself and to Mum, To have time to do things that 'I love to do', so I am going to make time for myself from now on and God willing, blog every Friday with the Crazy Crafters.

I hope I can inspire you as much as the other Super Talented Members of the Crazy Crafters.
